The title of this series was inspired by a particular event that occurred during the photoshoot. The model featured in the editorial is Yevheniia Hlotova, who left Ukraine after the war began. During our time together, we had several long and emotionally intense conversations about the current situation. As she opened up to me about the pain she has been experiencing since the war started, she began to cry and immediately tried to regain her composure. It was at that moment that I decided to take a close portrait of her and ask her, not to present a pretty face, but rather to show me what she was feeling inside. The picture on the left captures her reaction to my request.
